This morning, Swiss International Air Lines has taken delivery of its first A320neo aircraft (HB-JDA) at a delivery ceremony in Hamburg (XFW), Germany. It is the first of 25 A320neo Family aircraft ordered by Swiss International Air Lines.

The ferry flight was to Zurich, where the new aircraft will be based. Powered by Pratt & Whitney engines, Swiss’ first A320neo offers 180 seats in a 2-class layout. The A320neo Family incorporates the very latest technologies including new generation engines, Sharklets and cabin efficiency enablers, which together deliver 20 percent fuel savings.
