In aceasta dimineata, D-ABYA a iesit din hangarul de la Roma (FCO) unde a fost vopsit si a aterizat la Hamburg. Aici vor fi facute unele modificari la interior inaintea prezentarii oficiale de pe 7 februarie.
Pe 8 februarie, D-ABYA va zbura deasupra Germaniei, iar pe 9 februarie va zbura spre New York JFK. Tot pe 8 februarie, primul Airbus A321 (D-AISP) vopsit in noul livery la Ostrava va zbura spre destinatii din Europa. Pana la sfarsitul anului, 40 de avioane Lufthansa vor afisa noua identitate.
