LOT Polish Airlines has been named Best Airline in Eastern Europe at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards. Poland’s national carrier received the prize on 17 June during an awards ceremony held at Paris Air Show.

The awards are organised by Skytrax, an international organisation that assesses airline industry standards, and which has long been dedicated to raising passenger service quality in airlines and airports worldwide.

The online survey, conducted from September 2024 to May 2025, attracted responses from passengers representing over 100 nationalities, with 22.3 million valid entries ultimately considered. All submissions underwent checks for IP addresses and user information, and duplicates, suspicious entries or those failing to meet criteria were removed. Covering more than 325 airlines, the survey was available in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
