Stopovers are widely known and appreciated around the world, and thanks to a new service offered by the national carrier, they are now also available in Warsaw. LOT Stopover in Warsaw is a planned layover on connecting flights, which can last from 1 to 8 days. Unlike a short transfer, LOT Stopover gives passengers the opportunity to leave the airport and take advantage of the rich cultural and entertainment offer of Warsaw and other regions of Poland. The new service is aimed at both business and leisure travellers, and the LOT Stopover booking process has been simplified and integrated with the LOT Polish Airlines booking system.

In the LOT booking system, simply select a connection with the LOT Stopover service, choose a convenient transfer time (from 24 hours to 8 days) and pay for your trip. The LOT Stopover offer applies only to international flights and is available only for round-trip travel. If your booking includes more than one person, LOT Stopover applies to all passengers.

Furthermore, as part of the service, passengers will also receive a 25% discount on LOT Polish Airlines domestic flights within Poland. As a result, passengers taking advantage of LOT Stopover can explore not only Warsaw, but also discover various parts of Poland – from the sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea and mountain landscapes in the south of the country to picturesque vineyards in the west. With the national carrier’s extensive domestic flight network, passengers can easily and comfortably plan both short city breaks and longer trips covering the most interesting regions of Poland.

Warsaw – a stopover with a view of culture and history

Thanks to tourism partners – the Polish Tourism Organisation and the Warsaw Tourism Organisation, as part of the LOT Stopover scheme, passengers can enjoy a wide range of dedicated benefits. These include, among others, special prices at Warsaw’s tourist destinations and restaurants. Tourists taking advantage of LOT Stopover can enjoy seeing one of Europe’s fastest-growing capitals, which captivates with its contrasts: on one hand, it boasts a rich history that comes alive in its UNESCO-listed Old Town, while on the other, it buzzes with youthful energy, reflected in its dynamic architecture and thriving culinary scene.
