The new destination complements the existing 8 North American destinations in Discover Airlines’ flight schedule: Philadelphia, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Calgary, Halifax and Anchorage.
“Minneapolis is a great addition to our route network. The region stands for vast, untouched nature, countless lakes and outdoor experiences, which are particularly popular in the summer months. More and more people are drawn to nature when traveling – and Minnesota offers more than enough of it,” says Marco Götz, Chief Commercial Officer of Discover Airlines.
Minneapolis is located in the Midwest of the USA and is the largest city in the US state of Minnesota, which borders Canada. The city is rich in culture, art and architecture and is also an ideal starting point for excursions and round trips through the lush, unspoiled nature of Minnesota. Also known as the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” and home to the legendary Mississippi River, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, boating and camping here.
