Beginning April 2020, Vietnam Airlines plans to lease out (dry lease, damp lease or ACMI lease) narrowbody aircraft (Airbus A321s) or widebody aircraft (A350-900 or 787-9/10 Dreamliners).
The period of the lease has to be 6 months or more or “as agreed”, states the SkyTeam carrier. Vietnam Airlines has 74 Airbus A321s, 14 787 Dreamliners (of which 11 are 787-9 and three are 787-10) and 14 Airbus A350-900s.
