
Uzbekistan Airways’ two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners will begin long-haul flights from May 18. Until now, they have operated regional flights in Europe.
The two 787-8s were delivered in August and November 2016, with Uzbekistan Airways having ordered another 4 Dreamliners. Starting May 18, they will fly from Tashkent to New York JFK with a stopover in Riga, with the flight to be non-stop from July 27. The route is currently operated with a 767-300ER.
Starting June 1, the 787 Uzbekistan Airways will also fly to Seoul Incheon, 2-3 times / week, and between May 25 and 30, 2017 it will fly on the Tashkent – Singapore – Kuala Lumpur route once a week.
