
Astazi, cu ocazia prezentarii rezultatelor pentru trimestrul II, Boeing a anuntat ca primul zbor 777X, amanat deja pentru toamna, va avea loc in prima parte a lui 2020.
Motivul: probleme legate de dezvoltarea motoarelor General Electric GE9X. In ciuda acestei intarzieri, Boeing sustine ca intrarea in serviciul comercial a primului 777X va avea loc in 2020. Lufthansa a confirmat ca va receptiona primul exemplar in decembrie 2020, in timp ce Emirates il va primi in ianuarie 2021.
