Lufthansa’s 787-9 Dreamliner 100 Years livery will be delivered next month

D-ABPU, which received its livery at Boeing in Charleston (South Carolina), was transferred to Everett (Washington). The aircraft, named Berlin, is expected to arrive in Frankfurt shortly before Christmas and will enter commercial service in January.

The special livery, which was designed to mark Lufthansa’s 100th anniversary in 2026, combines tradition and the future in an iconic design. The blue fuselage is adorned with a white crane whose wings merge into the wings, turning the aircraft into a flying ambassador for Lufthansa.
