The theme of the new accessories is hollyhocks, with their composition emphasising elegance and Polish identity. The collection is the result of a partnership between PLL LOT and the Polish fashion brand LANCERTO, which derives from the best traditions of Polish design and tailoring.

Nature has always inspired creators. The plant motif, seemingly simple yet consistently present in art, appears in many paintings – as an allegory, an addition or the main theme. This time, flowers in an elegant arrangement will adorn the uniforms of LOT Polish Airlines cabin and ground crew. The creators of the new accessories drew inspiration from art representing Young Poland, where floral motifs can be found in the works of Stanisław Wyspiański, Olga Boznańska and Józef Mehoffer.
Hollyhock, a flower that smells of Polish summer
From now on, the main feature in the design of new scarves and pocket squares for LOT Polish Airlines’ cabin and ground crew will be hollyhocks – flowers that are a distinctive expression of Polish identity. This motif evokes a sunny summer afternoon far away from the city, where hollyhock flowers gently sway in the wind, and the only sound that you can hear is the gentle singing of birds. Peace, elegance and harmony. These are the landscapes of Poland that are appreciated worldwide, and thanks to LOT Polish Airlines, they will be promoted aboard the hospitable national carrier.
The floral motif on men’s pocket squares will be supplemented by ties in appropriately chosen shades of navy blue and red. LANCERTO designers did not forget the most important symbol of LOT – the crane, which has accompanied the company since it was founded 95 years ago. The symbol of luck and longevity, designed by Tadeusz Lucjan Gronowski, continues to subtly accompany the accessories worn by the cabin and ground crew.
Female flight attendants will be wearing white scarves with red hollyhocks and a navy blue trimming, while female purser will be wearing versions with a navy blue background and red flowers with a red trimming. The ground crew, in turn, will be wearing white scarves with red flowers and red edges. The new pocket squares for male cabin and ground crew feature similar designs. The male flight attendants’ ties, in navy blue characteristic of LOT, are adorned with a print of small red cranes, while the male pursers’ ties will be red with a print of navy blue cranes. The male ground crew, in turn, will be wearing red ties with a single crane symbol.
LOT Polish Airlines, promoter of culture and art
The changes in uniforms are another project undertaken by LOT Polish Airlines, promoting Polish heritage and culture, implemented in cooperation with a Polish brand. Recently, the carrier has showcased several collaborations with domestic companies, such as Krosno and Phenome. LOT actively supports culture, which is exemplified by a project implemented together with the National Museum in Warsaw. The film displaying safety rules on board, which premiered in December 2023, was recorded in the 19th Century Art Gallery.
