With the arrival of the Goldhofer Sherpas, half of KLM’s equipment tow tractors on the platform have been electrified. As a result of this expansion, KLM has now electrified just over 70% of its ground operations. The goal is zero-emission ground handling by 2030.
Equipment tow tractors play a crucial role on the Schiphol platform. They transport essential equipment such as containers, freight stairs and ground power units that are necessary for the handling of our flights.
