Covering more than 40 engine events of both Juneyao Air, the group’s legacy carrier, and 9 Air, its low-fare subsidiary, the CFM56 agreement features a range of services including overhauls, condition monitoring, and engineering consultation. This represents the largest engine services commitment in Lufthansa Technik’s history in China.
Under the agreement, the services will be carried out at Lufthansa Technik’s engine shop in Hamburg, Germany, for a combined fleet of CFM56-5B engines for Juneyao Air and CFM56-7B engines for 9 Air, ensuring peak operational readiness for both carriers.
