Japan Airlines (JAL) has terminated the operation of Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on the Tokyo Haneda – London Heathrow route. The last flight was JL43 from Tokyo Haneda on January 1 and JL44 from London Heathrow on the same day.

JAL operates this route twice daily, and the previous 777-300ER flights (JL43/44) have been replaced by Airbus A350-1000. Flight JL41/42 is operated with Boeing 787-8s.
On January 1st, flight JL43, carrying 211 people, 16 crew members and 195 passengers, departed Tokyo/Haneda at 10:01 a.m. It landed in London/Heathrow at 2:50 p.m.
Flight JL44, carrying a total of 244 people, 16 crew members and 228 passengers, departed London/Heathrow at 6:29 p.m. It landed in Tokyo/Haneda at 4:54 p.m. on the next day, the 2nd, and arrived at parking spot 107 at 5:10 p.m.
