
ITA Airways announces its first major addition for the upcoming 2026–2027 winter season: a new seasonal direct flight from Rome Fiumicino to Santo Domingo, now available across all the airline’s sales channels.

The new flight to the Dominican Republic marks ITA Airways’ entry into Central America and further strengthens its presence in the Americas. The airline already operates direct flights to the United States, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina.
The new route will operate from November 30th 2026, with one weekly frequency on Mondays, increasing to two weekly flights, adding Sundays, from December 14th through the end of March 2027. The new route will be operated with Airbus A330neo configured with 3 travel classes: Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
