There is a daily flight from Munich to the airport at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The A380 takes off at 11:15am under flight number LH480 and land in Denver at 1:45pm local time. The return flight departs at 4:15pm and land back in Munich at 10:50am the following day.

‘The Airbus A380 service to Denver is not only a first for Lufthansa, but also for the airport itself. It is the first time that a scheduled flight with an aircraft of this size will land there. Passengers, airport visitors and crews love the A380, the flying experience and the feeling of space. At the same time, the A380 offers more premium seats than any other aircraft,’ says Heiko Reitz, CCO Lufthansa Airlines.

This summer, 8 Airbus A380s, each with 509 seats, will be based at Lufthansa’s Munich hub. The destinations are New York (JFK), Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Delhi and Denver. The A380 offers eight seats in First Class, 78 seats in Business Class, 52 seats in Premium Economy and 371 seats in Economy.

Lufthansa has been flying non-stop from Munich to Denver for 9 years and from Frankfurt for 25 years. In summer 2025, a total of 4 daily flights will be offered – two from Munich and two from Frankfurt.
