Halifax is Edelweiss’ third destination in Canada, after Vancouver and Calgary. The route will be operated until mid-October.
‘Halifax opens up a new and fascinating region of Canada for us: Atlantic Canada. The unique blend of maritime charm, unspoilt nature and cultural diversity inspires travellers and nature lovers alike. This not only makes our Canada offering more varied, but also even more inspiring,’ says Patrick Heymann, Chief Commercial Officer of Edelweiss.
Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of Atlantic Canada
Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia, delights visitors with its lively cultural scene, charming old town and historic sites such as the star-shaped citadel and the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. The waterfront promenade is perfect for strolling, while cosy pubs, cafés and galleries characterise the cityscape.
Halifax is an excellent base for exploring the region’s natural wonders: whether it’s the spectacular cliffs of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, beautiful beaches or picturesque fishing villages, Nova Scotia offers outdoor experiences for every taste. The landscape is particularly impressive in autumn, when the forests turn bright shades of yellow, orange and red. Add to this the typical Canadian warmth and a cuisine renowned far beyond the country’s borders for its fresh seafood.
