
The leisure airline is further expanding its services at Germany’s second-largest airport. From winter 2025, the flight schedule will include up to three weekly flights to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The first flight will take off on October 26th.

On Wednesdays and Sundays, Discover Airlines will offer the only direct connection from Munich to the popular leisure destination in the Caribbean. The airline will add another connection on Mondays during the holiday season.
Discover Airlines is launching long-haul flights from Munich this March, basing two Airbus A330s there. In the summer, numerous weekly flights to Windhoek, Orlando and Calgary are scheduled. The latter will then be replaced by Punta Cana for the winter months up to and including Easter.
With this new addition, Discover Airlines is also responding to tour operators’ requests for additional connections from Germany to the Caribbean paradise. Together with four weekly flights from Frankfurt to Punta Cana, Discover Airlines will then offer daily connections there next winter – with convenient daytime flights there and overnight flights back. The Dominican Republic is one of the top destinations for travelers from Germany, especially in the winter months.
