British Airways will fly to Tivat, Montenegro and Guernsey, the Channel Islands

BA will launch seasonal flights to Tivat from London Heathrow Terminal 3 on 14th May 2026, operating during the summer season. British Airways has also announced year-round flights to Guernsey, commencing on 19th April 2026.

“Montenegro is an ideal choice for those seeking stunning coastlines and year-round sunshine, and the addition of Guernsey is something we know our customers have been eagerly awaiting. As the only direct service between Heathrow and Guernsey, the route will offer conveniently timed connections to more than 20 European destinations, providing greater choice and flexibility for both leisure and business travellers alike.”

Tivat, Montenegro

BA will operate three flights per week from London Heathrow Terminal 3. Montenegro is known for its stunning Adriatic coastline, dramatic mountain landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. Whether customers want to relax by the sea, explore historic walled towns like Kotor and Budva, or seek adventure in national parks such as Durmitor, this destination offers activities for everyone.

According to the Statistical Office of Montenegro (MONSTAT), tourist arrivals in 2024 reached 2.6 million, with almost 15.6 million overnight stays. More than 96 per cent of overnight guests were international visitors, highlighting the growing demand for travel to Montenegro.


Guernsey, Channel Islands

British Airways will operate the only direct service between London Heathrow and Guernsey from next summer. The year-round, daily flights will operate from the flag carrier’s hub at London Heathrow Terminal 5. Timed to offer seamless and convenient onward connections to over 20 European destinations, including Rome, Madrid, and Geneva, as well as transatlantic destinations in North America, including New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto.

Guernsey is celebrated for its rich history and culture, as well as its rugged coastline, lined with 28 miles of cliff paths that offer panoramic views of bays, headlands, and the chance to enjoy a range of water activities. Whether travellers are exploring Castle Cornet, which has stood guard over St Peter Port for more than 800 years, or enjoying a unique blend of art and nature along the Renoir Walk, Guernsey truly offers something for everyone.

Both routes offer a Club Europe option (short-haul business class), which includes lounge access at London Heathrow, additional personal space, a full meal with drinks from the bar, and a larger baggage allowance.

British Airways has recently expanded its long-haul network with the announcement of a new route to St. Louis launching next summer.
