British Airways touched down in Bangkok, more than 4 years since last flying to Thailand. The aircraft departed London Gatwick on October 28th, landing at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport the following day. Customers on the first flight were greeted on arrival by traditional dancers, flower garlands and local gifts.

British Airways announced its return to Bangkok earlier this year having last flown in 2020. Flights will operate 3 times per week initially, increasing up to 5 times per week in January and February 2025, and 4 times per week in March 2025.
Recently, BA announced its expanded codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways, giving customers the opportunity to seamlessly connect onto five holiday destinations from Bangkok. Customers can travel to the turquoise waters of Koh Samui or Phuket, or fly north to Chiang Mai to enjoy picturesque mountain views and visit historical temples. Those looking to travel to Cambodia can fly to its bustling capital, Phnom Penh or the northwestern resort town of Siem Reap.
British Airways has confirmed that it will resume flying to Kuala Lumpur on April 1, 2025 with a daily flight from London Heathrow. Next month, it will launch flights to Tromsø, Norway from London Heathrow and Ivalo, Lapland from London Gatwick. BA now operates to nearly 200 destinations globally in more than 60 countries worldwide.
