From 3 June to 27 September 2025, Austrian will fly from Vienna to the Scottish capital Edinburgh every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Sylt, the German North Sea Island, is easily accessible from Vienna from 28 June to 6 September 2025, with flights every Saturday. Austrian Airlines will fly “far north” to Lofoten islands from Vienna every Friday from 30 May to 29 August 2025.

With Burgas, Austrian Airlines adds a vibrant, up-and-coming city on the Black Sea coast as the 4th new destination to the summer program – three times a week from 19 June 2025, every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from Vienna to Burgas.

The summer schedule 2025 includes 104 destinations on short and medium-haul routes and 18 long-haul destinations. This also includes the recently launched connection Linz – Frankfurt into summer 2025.

Those who want to travel far in the summer can choose from 18 existing long-haul destinations that Austrian Airlines flies directly to: in Africa, Cairo year-round, Mauritius and Marrakech seasonally; in Asia, Bangkok, Tokyo, Shanghai year-round, and Malé seasonally; in North America, Boston, New York (Newark and JFK), Washington, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Montreal in Canada year-round.

Subject to further developments in the Middle East, connections to Amman, Erbil, Tehran, and Tel Aviv are also planned in the summer schedule. Currently, flights to Tehran (until 30 November 2024) and Tel Aviv (until 25 November 2024) are still suspended.
