The two A220s are already predominantly operating on the company’s scheduled domestic and international routes. The jets have 137 seats, including 12 fold-flat Business seats, much more leg room than other models on the market and five seats on each row in economy class. Wider aisles and larger windows provide extra passenger comfort.
Earlier this year, the airline received another Airbus A320, mainly used for charter flights to tourist destinations in Egypt, Tunisia, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Portugal. By mid-April 2025, the airline will expand its fleet with one more A320 – in time for the charter season, which is in full swing after May 1, when operations to most holiday destinations begin.
In the second half of the year, two more Airbus A220-300 units are planned to be delivered, which will also be allocated mainly to the operation of scheduled routes, but also on some charter flights in the “Premium Charter” program, developed together with the Christian Tour agency, which is part of the same travel group.
Starting this summer, one of the A320 aircraft will move its base to Timisoara, from where it will operate split charter routes to Greece, Turkey, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt. The company plans to start a series of regular routes from Timisoara from the winter season, both as feeders to Bucharest, as well as direct international flights.
AnimaWings currently operates scheduled flights to: Paris, Stockholm, Larnaca, Larnaca, Nice, Ibiza, Ibiza, Dublin, Tel Aviv, Cluj, Iasi, Oradea, Dubai and Marrakesh.
For split-charter / seasonal flights, the airline covers routes such as Corfu (from Bucharest & Timisoara), Crete – Heraklion (from Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj, Oradea), Zakynthos (Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara), Kefalonia (Bucharest), Rhodos (Bucharest, Timisoara), Faro (Bucharest), Palma de Mallorca (Bucharest & Timisoara), Tenerife (Bucharest).
