
Starting May 1st, airBaltic will connect Riga and Bucharest, OTP airport with 3 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). These will be operated with Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The Riga-Bucharest route was launched by airBaltic in June 2014 with Bombardier Q400 jets.

“airBaltic will connect Riga with Bucharest and will offer the Romanian market not only Latvia as a destination, but also convenient transit connections via Riga to Nordic, Baltic and European cities. Vice versa, there is a demand and great interest in Romania from Scandinavian travellers, so we are ready for a good cooperation with local tourism authorities on increasing the number of tourists coming to discover Romania,” stated Mrs. Mariya Radchenko, airBaltic Management.

airBaltic has appointed APG as its online GSA in Romania, Moldova and Turkey. Under the agreement, APG will be providing the airline with wide-ranging sales activities, marketing support, reservation and ticketing services.
