Today, the first of 14 Airbus A350-900s ordered by Aeroflot exited the paint shop in Toulouse wearing the airline’s new livery. Named “Piotr Tchaikovsky”, this A350-900 is registered VQ-BFY.
Aeroflot’s A350-900s, which will also mark the introduction of new Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy cabins, will offer 316 seats: 28 Business (layout 1-2-1), 24 Premium Economy (layout 2-4-2) and 264 Economy (layout 3-3-3). Aeroflot placed the order for 14 A350 XWB in June 2007.
