On the eve of the summer season, the fleet of Uzbekistan Airways get a modernized Boeing 767 (UK67007). The aircraft, after long storage, has undergone extensive technical preparation and will soon begin operating flights.
The return of this aircraft to commercial service was part of a program to meet the growing demand for flights, increase the frequency of flights, and open new destinations.
Uzbekistan Airways Technics specialists have completed a large-scale work, transforming the “preserved” aircraft into a technically upgraded airliner. The chassis has been completely replaced, new engines and auxiliary power units (VSU) have been installed, and all necessary procedures for the severe forms of C-checks have been performed.
Special attention was paid to the passenger cabin: the interior was updated taking into account the requirements of comfort. The layout of the cabin includes 18 Business Class seats and 246 Economy seats.
