Serving up to 19 million passengers annually, the terminal includes gates G, H, and J. Korean Air check-in counters are located in Area J, Zone 32 on the third floor, and are open from 3 hours to 1 hour prior to scheduled departures. Despite the relocation, connectivity across the airport remains seamless. The SkyLine train allows passengers to transfer between Terminals 1 and 3 in approximately 8 minutes.

Other SkyTeam members are expected to gradually relocate to Terminal 3. In addition, partner airline Condor will move operations there starting from summer 2027, enabling more convenient connections to major German cities such as Berlin, Hamburg and Munich.

New SkyTeam Lounge in Frankfurt

The key highlight of the move is the opening of the new SkyTeam Lounge, located on the fourth-floor mezzanine in Terminal 3’s non-Schengen international zone. The lounge is available to eligible Korean Air passengers, including First and Prestige Class passengers, alongside SKYPASS Million Miler and Morning Calm Premium Club members flying on Korean Air-operated flights.

Spanning 550 square meters, the new lounge offers seating for 126 guests and features panoramic airfield views alongside a range of premium amenities. Guests can enjoy showers, high-speed internet, a soundproof phone booth, a dedicated relaxation area and an exclusive VIP space, catering to both productivity and rest.

Additionally, the lounge offers a curated dining experience with freshly prepared local and international cuisine served throughout the day. Featuring a live cooking area and digital menu, guests can conveniently order hot meals via a QR code. Menus highlight locally sourced ingredients and regional dishes, complemented by a selection of German beers and wines. The lounge is open 3 hours before the first SkyTeam departure and remains open until the final SkyTeam departure of the day.
