Uzbekistan Airways continues its efforts to modernize and expand the fleet. In 2026, the national carrier of Uzbekistan will receive two new Airbus A321neo aircraft from its leasing partner, China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings Limited (CALC).
These aircraft will join the already successfully operated A320neo family, reaffirming the airline’s commitment to efficient, economical, and passenger-friendly air travel. The new aircraft will feature a reconfigured cabin layout: 16 full-flat Business Class seats designed for long-haul comfort and 156 Economy seats.
The A321neos will also include Airbus’s latest Airspace Premium cabin design, offering enhanced sound insulation, spacious overhead compartments, more personal space, and modern LED lighting. On-board Internet access will be available, ensuring passengers can stay connected throughout their journey. An advanced in-flight entertainment system will also be provided via individual screens with access to movies, music, games, and flight maps.
CALC confirmed that both aircraft will be delivered in 2026 as part of the company’s direct order with Airbus. This agreement marks the further development of the partnership between CALC and Uzbekistan Airways, which began in 2023.
Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airways JSC, Shukhrat Khudaykulov, noted: “Uzbekistan Airways continues to follow a strategy of sustainable growth and improved service quality. The arrival of the new A321neo aircraft is not just fleet expansion — it’s a significant step toward building a modern, competitive, and convenient air transportation system. We are pleased to continue our cooperation with CALC and are confident that the new aircraft will strengthen our route network and make air travel even more comfortable for our passengers.”
