These flights will commence in the 2nd quarter of 2020 and will be operated with Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (El Al has 12). Besides Melbourne, El Al plans to launch flights to Chicago, Tokyo, Dublin and Dusseldorf next year.
First flight LY87 will be carried out on April 2nd, followed by another one on April 23rd and the last one on May 14th. The non-stop journey from Tel Aviv to Melbourne will take approximately 16 hours and 15 minutes, and the return flight to Tel Aviv is expected to take 17 hours and 45 minutes.
