As the largest business jet equipped with Garmin Emergency Autoland, the Phenom 300EV can execute a fully automated landing in the unlikely event of pilot incapacitation. Landings and takeoffs are also supported by class-exclusive Autobrake, for further safety and comfort. Enabling these capabilities, a new Embraer-developed Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller (MEC), integrates rudder-by-wire and other electronically controlled aircraft functions, contributing to reduced pilot workload and simplified maintenance.</p>

Additional enhancements, as part of Garmin G3000 Prodigy Touch, include runway and taxi situational awareness, based on Garmin’s 3D Taxiway Routing and Runway Occupancy Awareness, synthetic vision guidance system, FANS 1/A+, RNP AR 0.3, and inertial reference system. These complement features like Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System, Autothrottle, and Emergency Descent Mode. These systems expand the aircraft’s capabilities, focused on safety and reduced workload across a wide range of operating conditions.</p>

Performance updates include an extended range of up to 2,055 nautical miles and an increase in maximum zero fuel weight, adding approximately 430 pounds of payload capacity. The aircraft continues to offer a maximum cabin altitude of 6,600 feet, one of the largest baggage compartments in its category, the largest windows in class, and a robust entry airstair inspired by larger-cabin jets.</p>

<p>Among the highlights of Bombardier’s presence at the show will be the first ever aerial display of the Global 8000 aircraft, whose performance capabilities make it the flagship of the business aviation industry as well as an ideal vehicle for the most demanding special missions, including head of state.</p>
<p>Bombardier’s Global aircraft family is already in strong demand from governments and militaries around the world. <p>The campaign marks the first 100% SAF flight for the Gulfstream G800 and Pearl 700 engine. The aircraft was paired with a specially modified Gulfstream G700, transformed into a flying emissions measurement laboratory. Operating in close formation, the aircraft enabled researchers to capture precise, real-world measurements of particulate matter and contrail-forming atmospheric characteristics at higher altitudes than flown by most commercial airliners, yet typical for business aviation.</p>
<p>Conducted in collaboration with the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Center of Excellence (ASCENT), NASA, the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Missouri University of Science and Technology, Aerodyne Research, Rolls-Royce, Montana Renewables and World Fuel Services, the campaign was designed to isolate how fuel composition influences non-CO2 emissions, an area of increasing focus across science and industry.</p>

To accomplish this, the team compared conventional Jet A, low-sulfur Jet A and neat hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids (HEFA) SAF, which contains no sulfur or aromatics. Preliminary results suggest a significant measurable reduction in the particulate emissions that contribute to contrail formation when operating on neat SAF.</p>
<p>Delivering these results required months of preparation by Gulfstream’s engineering and flight test teams, including modifying the G700 cabin to integrate advanced in-flight emissions instrumentation. Pilots trained extensively in simulators to execute complex formation profiles needed to capture both near-field emissions and contrail evolution several miles in-trail.</p>
<p>This work builds on Gulfstream’s longstanding leadership in building a strong sustainable aviation future, including the industry’s first trans-Atlantic flight using SAF in one engine in 2011 and the industry’s first trans-Atlantic flight powered by 100% SAF in 2023. To date, Gulfstream aircraft have flown more than 3.5 million nautical miles on SAF blends.</p>

<p>The G800 secured the 800th city pair speed record earlier in June with a flight from Reykjavik, Iceland, to Savannah. The aircraft traveled 2,973 nautical miles/5,505 kilometers in 5 hours and 52 minutes at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.91.</p>
<p>On June 28, the G800 completed a separate record-setting mission from Melbourne, Australia, to Moline, Illinois. The flight covered 8,303 nm/15,377 km in 16 hours and 56 minutes at an average cruise speed of Mach 0.85.</p>
<p>The G800 is designed for long-range missions, offering a range of 8,200 nm/15,186 km at Mach 0.85 and 7,000 nm/12,964 km at its high-speed cruise of Mach 0.90. The aircraft can also fly 8,000 nm/14,816 km at Mach 0.87 and features a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935, allowing operators to maximize mission flexibility while maintaining optimal fuel-efficiency and operational reliability.</p>
<p>The G800 features a low cabin altitude of 2,840 feet/866 meters when flying at 41,000 ft/12,497 m, 100% fresh air replenished every two to three minutes, a plasma ionization air purification system and 16 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows. The interior can be configured with up to 4 living areas or three living areas and a crew compartment, ideal for the ultra-long flights the G800 can make.</p>

<p>Test Pilot Sébastien Dupont de Dinechin and copilot Fabrice Dougnac took off from runway 23 at Bordeaux-Mérignac at 11:10 AM for a two-hour and 30-minute flight. The pilots evaluated handling qualities and systems at 15,000 feet, then retracted the landing gear and all movable surfaces before climbing to 40,000 feet, where they accelerated to Mach 0.82. They returned to Bordeaux-Mérignac for a smooth landing at 1:40 PM.</p>

<p>The first aircraft will be soon followed into the air by a second test aircraft nearing completion, and by a third, that is being outfitted with a full interior and will be used mainly for systems and cabin functional and reliability testing.</p>
<p>“This inaugural flight is another milestone for Dassault,” said Chairman and CEO Eric Trappier. “It is a reflection of the dedication and high skill of our engineering, production, and flight teams, and also the quality of our global network of partners. All of us are excited to see this day as we launch into a new phase for the 10X.”</p>

<p>The initial flight, piloted by Andrew Thorson and Towns, lasted 2.7 hours and focused on evaluating aircraft handling and key systems. The M2 Gen3 reached a maximum altitude of 41,000 feet and a maximum speed of 263 knots. The aircraft will now enter an expanded phase of flight testing as the company works toward Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification and a planned entry into service in 2027.</p>
<p>“The aircraft systems and software performed as intended throughout the flight, with all validation checks completed successfully, contributing to a smooth and uneventful flight,” said Tanner Towns, flight test engineer. “This flight confirms the strong foundation we’ve built as we move into the next phase of testing.”</p>
<p>With the introduction of the new Cessna Citation M2 Gen3, Textron Aviation invested in enhancements that focus on comfort and productivity for both pilot and passengers. The M2 Gen3 interior incorporates premium styling, ambient lighting, illuminated cupholders and an optional folding side-facing seat that doubles as extra cargo space. Cabin technology includes wireless charging and both USB-A and USB-C ports, supporting passenger productivity.</p>
<p>The Citation M2 Gen3 boasts a maximum range of 1,550 nm and a maximum payload of 1,510 pounds. Featuring a seating capacity for up to eight occupants and a baggage capacity of up to 725 pounds, the M2 Gen3 is an entry-level jet with a focus on passenger confidence, comfort and productivity.</p>

<p>With Gulfstream’s next‑generation Symmetry Flight Deck, the G700 features active control sidesticks and the industry’s most extensive use of touch-screen technology paired with Phase‑of‑Flight intelligence, which reduces pilot workload to help enhance safety. Additional safety features include Gulfstream’s Combined Vision System on dual head‑up display, merging Enhanced Flight Vision System and Synthetic Vision System into a single image to increase pilot situational awareness and open access to more airports.</p>

<p>Featuring the most spacious cabin in the industry, the G700 can fly 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 kilometers at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90 and has a maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935. The Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100% fresh air, abundant natural light from 20 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows, and the industry’s lowest cabin altitudes at the highest elevations practically eliminates jet lag over the ultralong-range routes the G700 was designed to fly.</p>
