In an era of generic corporate identities, Air Serbia highlights what makes it unique – a deeply rooted tradition and an emotional bond with its passengers. The new brand design gives travellers a sense of warmth and welcome – to feel at home wherever they are in the world.
“Our mission goes beyond transport services alone, we are building an emotional connection with our passengers. Tradition shapes us, while the new identity brings warmth, unity, and trust that passengers carry with them even after the journey ends. In this way, we reaffirm our dedication to developing a national brand we believe in, and are proud of,” said Bojana Knežević, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Air Serbia.
Motives shaping the new visual identity are inspired by Serbian folk ornamentation, Sofra and Kuveri patterns, symbolising stability, unity, warmth, and reliability. These elements go beyond aesthetic function. They reflect the values and emotions that passengers recognise in Air Serbia.
Over 480,000 passengers in September
Last month, Air Serbia carried 480,507 passengers and operated a total of 4,848 flights, indicating year-over-year growth and confirming the continuation of a positive trend in the number of scheduled flights. The passenger cabin load factor was 79 percent, which is an increase compared to 77.7 percent in September last year.
“Since the start of the year, we have carried over 3.5 million passengers, and the past month has been recorded as the best September in Air Serbia’s history. September proved to be an exceptionally popular month for holidays and travel, which further contributed to the positive results. Although we still see a double-digit decline in charter traffic, our scheduled operations have grown, and the total number of passengers and flights have exceeded last year’s. These results provide a strong incentive to continue expanding our network of destinations and continuously improving our service for our passengers,” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia.
The most popular Air Serbia destinations in the region were Tivat, Podgorica, and Ljubljana, while in terms of the Western Europe region, passengers showed the greatest interest in Paris, Zurich, and Frankfurt. In the wider Euro-Mediterranean zone, the most sought-after destinations were Athens, Istanbul, Barcelona, and Larnaca, while in long-haul traffic the majority of passengers flew on the route between Belgrade and New York.
