
Emirates SkyCargo has launched a weekly freighter service to Toronto Pearson Airport, further strengthening air cargo links between Canada and the UAE. The new service expands cargo connectivity for Canadian businesses and supports growing bilateral trade flows.

EK9943 departs Dubai World Central (DWC) airport at 07:10hrs local time on Fridays arriving at Amsterdam (AMS) at 12:15hrs local time. The flight then departs Amsterdam and continues to Toronto arriving at 16:55hrs local time.
EK9944 departs from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) airport at 19:15hrs local time on Fridays, arriving at Dubai World Central (DWC) at 16.15hrs on Saturdays local time.
The freighter service from Toronto will boost exports of commodities such as pharmaceuticals, fresh produce, electronics & components as well as other general cargo, supporting Canada’s high-value and time and temperature sensitive export sectors to Dubai and other parts of Emirates’ network.
Between Amsterdam and Toronto, the freighter flight supports main deck cargo capacity for movement of pharmaceuticals, perishables and other manufactured goods from the EU to Canada.
Emirates SkyCargo is an important facilitator of trade to and from Canada since start of passenger flight to Toronto in 2007. More recently, the airline has transported over 11,000 tons of export cargo from Canada since 2023. Emirates’ freighter service to Toronto supplements the bellyhold cargo capacity offered on passenger flights between Dubai and Toronto and underlines Emirates’ long-term commitment to the Canadian market. In July 2023, Emirates SkyCargo also started offering cargo capacity on passenger flights to and from Montreal.
Emirates SkyCargo operates to a global network spanning six continents offering cargo capacity on Emirates’ fleet of over 270 aircraft including dedicated freighters. The cargo carrier has recently taken delivery of 4 new Boeing 777 freighters since March and will expand its fleet with 6 additional Boeing 777Fs in 2026.
