On short and medium-haul routes, Austrian Airlines’ 2025/26 winter timetable offers a total of 73 destinations with up to 980 flights per week, while long-haul flights will operate up to 48 times a week to ten different destinations.

There will be an airport change from the start of the winter flight schedule in Italy: from 26 October 2025, Austrian Airlines will now fly to Linate Airport up to four times a day instead of Malpensa for all flights to Milan. This change was made by taking over the corresponding slots from ITA Airways, which, like Austrian Airlines, has been part of the Lufthansa Group since the beginning of the year. Linate Airport is much closer to Milan, which significantly shortens the journey time to the city centre for travellers.
By the end of the summer timetable, connections to Rome Fiumicino will be increased up to three times a day and 18 times a week respectively. This will provide Austrian Airlines passengers with ideal access to the ITA Airways hub in Rome – the attractive route network of the new ‘sister airline’ with numerous long-haul connections to North and South America and Asia will be available via codeshare.

As every year, Thailand, the Maldives and Mauritius are a highlight and very popular among travellers in winter. With up to 5 flights per week to the Maldives and up to 3 to Mauritius, the island paradises are once again served directly by the red-white-red airline, with Austrian Airlines aircraft even taking off for Bangkok up to twice a day at times during the winter. This tight schedule to Bangkok was particularly popular and in great demand in the previous winter timetable and is therefore being reintroduced.
Also well represented and always popular in the winter flight schedule – the up to 11 weekly connections to New York (JFK and EWR), as well as the 5 weekly connections to Montreal and 3 weekly connections to Boston.
