
Starting this Fall, JAL will introduce Airbus A350-1000 on the Tokyo Haneda-London route, flights JL43/44. The start date has yet to be announced.

Additionally, the Haneda-New York route will be operated with A350-1000 aircraft on two flights daily from August 14, and the Haneda-Dallas Fort Worth route will be operated daily from August 23.
JAL’s A350-1000s are configured in 4 classes. The First Class features 6 Suites, each with a choice of three modes: sofa, seat and single bed or double bed. The Business Class also offers Suites, with 54 seats and privacy doors. Meanwhile, the Premium Economy Class (24 seats) and Economy Class (155 seats) both feature more personal space and comfort in their respective categories.
JAL has ordered 31 A350 aircraft, comprising 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s. The carrier has been operating the A350-900 on high density Japanese domestic routes since 2019.

Additional flights on other JAL routes
To meet the strong demand for inbound travel and North America-Asia travel, flights to Southeast Asia (Jakarta, Bengaluru), Oceania (Melbourne), and East Asia (Shanghai (Pudong), Taipei(Taoyuan)) will be increased. To respond to the steady recovery of outbound tourism demand from Japan, flights to Guam will be increased, special flights for the Honolulu Marathon will be operated, and some flights during the year-end and New Year period will be upgraded to Boeing 777 aircraft with First Class.
Domestic flights
From January 7, the Osaka (Itami)-Miyazaki route will increase from 5 round trips to 6 round trips per day for a limited period. - Flights on the Kagoshima-remote island routes will be increased during high-demand periods as in previous years. - Flights on the Sapporo (Okadama)-Kushiro, Hakodate, and Akita routes will be decreased from December 1 to February 28 to further enhance the ability to respond to irregularities such as bad weather.
